Problems making the boot sd card (android) |

Hi I have some problems making the android OS "work" for my Pine (havent recieved the Pine yet but am preparing).
After using the PhenixCard software and getting the progressbar to the max and the "done" notification I checked the sd-card but there is nothing on it. Still 119 of 119Gb free space (Im using a 128Gb card).
Have I misundstood anything? Does the phoenixcard software only make the sdcard bootable or is it supposed to copy the android image to the card as well.

Hi all,
I'm working on small project where I need several serial ports (RS232) for accessing console port on NW switches/routers.
I have already tried several USB->RS232 converters connected over USB hub to PC and it works. Problem however is it causes huge "web" of cables.
Is there some module which would support lets say 8x RS232 ports?
I found in documentation for GPIO connector some UART pins, so at least 1x RS232 should be possible. But is possible to have them more from 1 PINE?
On forums related to raspberry pi I found some suggestions for FTDI4232 chip which can handle 4x RS232. I however can't built such module on my own.
Is there a plan to build module for serveral RS232?
Thanks in advance for the answers.
BR,
Peter

| Battery + Charging question |

So I love the fact that the PINE64 has native support for LIPO batteries, but I can't seem to fine any specifications for charging.
I wanted to know what the maximum charge current available is. It's great to have a 5-10Ah battery, but if you can only charge it at 500mA then it's a bit pointless. I was hoping for at least a 1A charge but preferably a 2-5A charge.

Hi all
"We currently provide two types of frequency ranges: 868MHz for EU and 908MHz for US. We will produce 921Mhz for Australia/New Zealand region when there is enough request."
Just wanted to register my request for a 921Mhz z-wave module, this would make Pine64 a great choice here. If anyone else is interested please voice your support here too
Cheers

| PicoCluster Question |

IK that PicoCluster is mainly used for web servers and businesses but can this be utilized as just a personal computer? Basically what I am asking is that are the P64 clusters 3 different computers that do not share the same power or can you just run one OS and just get more processing power out of it, also if you can use it as a PC, can you run an OS on it and how hard would it be?
IK that is a lot to think about and I am sorry.
P.S. How expensive would the cluster cost?

I'm wondering if the pine64 can enhance my laptop to use autodesk inventor in storage and performance. Also could I double the storage and performance by simply getting 2?
