I have a problem connecting to the Pine 64 store. When I try connecting using Firefox, this message appears:
Your connection is not secure
The owner of shop.pine64.com has configured their website improperly. To protect your information from being stolen, Firefox has not connected to this website.
I tried using Microsoft Edge and Kaspersky Internet Security gave me this message:
Cannot guarantee authenticity of the domain to which encrypted connection is established
Application: Microsoft Edge
URL: shop.pine64.com
Reason: Invalid name of certificate. Either the name is not on the allowed list, or was explicitly excluded.
I was able to place an order earlier this month, so this happened just recently.

| Which command line only OS? For streaming audio |

Hi, I'm a newbie to SBC. I have a 512MB model, that I would like use to stream audio to the internet (darkice + caster.fm). I've read the OS page in the wiki, the only OS there suitable for the 512MB board is Debian. Which has a gui (desktop environment), which I really don't want or need.
I'm much more comfortable with Ubuntu (actually CentOS, and Ubuntu is closer to Cent than Debian is), but it says Ubuntu won't run on the 512MB boards. I'm guessing that if ran Ubuntu, it would be slow and laggy, but then if I uninstalled the de it would be ok? But there might be other things wrong then, like the audio would be setup for a de, not command line, it might make things a little harder. It seems there is no "official" (recommended) command line OS?
I see lots of references to custom builds in the forums, like "get bob's Ubuntu core here..." but I don't feel great about that idea... I'd like something a little more mainstream. I found one that sounded like it would work ok, but the download link was a 404.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi all. When I attempt to install synergy (allows use of one keyboard and mouse between pc's) I get the below error. Any ideas on how to address this?
Using Debian Mate image here.
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
synergy : Depends: libqt4-network (>= 4:4.5.3) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.

| Any luck getting JACK working on the pine64? |

This looks like a good place to ask this. Anybody know JACK/pine64+ 2G? I envision a two board cluster, one 2G for UI, one 512M --- for audio processing, and some professional audio software. Touch screen, usb midi, class d pre-amp, and/or digital audio feed to a dsp. The idea is to devastate the old market with new, accessible kit.
I'm still noobing on the whole build process, working at getting a stable workstation from which to further develop. Many of you are waaay ahead of me on that, so I'm just asking.
David
If this is better as a new post, say so, and I'll do that too.

Just want to take a moment to thank all those who helped me get it up and running. One more question. Using the Android 5.1 LCD version wonder if it will also drive the HDMI port?
Thanks again. Happy dancer here.

4 months ago I did an unboxing of the pine 64. As promised, I have tested it out and made my personal opinion after 1000h of load, and non stop use (24/7). Its ON since the day arrived home.
You have find the complete review here.
Just to put something here:

Conclusion
For being the first model of the company, I would say from my personal experience that, the Pine 64 is solid. Great price, for great performance. It has given me all I asked and never failed to do a task. It’s community is still growing and expanding, so don’t expect to find information as easy as you would do for a raspberry pi.
Is more than I expected, I totally recommend it, if you are looking for a small computer with great performance.
