In the KDE Plasma Menu (It opens with the Pine Logo key) you need to select System settings. Once the System Settings window has opened, you can select "Global Theme" and with that open you can select the Breeze theme, once applied that will open all windows with a light background.
I download Manjaro KDE Plasma 20.10 last week. I have two issues I don't have a clue to solve.
!. Pinebook Pro, screen is dark
2. Font size is to small to read or see... increased the font sizes but website size don't change.
Thank you for any assistance you can give me.
My regards,
Let me clarify what I mean by a dark screen.
My computer came with Ubuntu, lighting was not an issue. I download Manjaro KDE Plasma on an extra 64gb eMMC card. The set up of Manjaro went fine. The screen was dark after it booted up and I attempt to use the keys F1 and F2 to brighten up the screen, no luck.
With that done you can select the "Display settings" which will allow you to change the screen scaling to something easier to read. Personally I pick 1.5. After that is selected you need to restart the computer for the scaling to take effect. It should then restart to an interface that is much lighter and easier to read.
Personally I took my Pinebook Pro up to the local library, where I found a friendly helpful person who was able to work with the default settings.
