  Tweak application
Posted by: Regula - 03-07-2022, 11:11 AM - Forum: Arch Linux on PinePhone - Replies (1)

Hey,

just a quick question. Everything in that application seems to work except the sound "tweaks". Anyone else having the problem that none of the changes to the settings are saved in this subcategory ? Everything else works fine.

double tap to wake > plasma mobile
Posted by: Uturn - 03-07-2022, 02:06 AM - Forum: Manjaro on PinePhone - Replies (3)

plasma mobile's double tap to wake feature is os nifity, but it wors not consistently. Sometimes pinephone wakes on doeuble tap, sometimes it does not.
Is it possible to give it a bit more reliability?

auto start waydroid in plasma mobile?
Posted by: Uturn - 03-07-2022, 01:49 AM - Forum: Manjaro on PinePhone - Replies (2)

every time, I wand to run Waydroid, i must terminal
sudo systemcetl start waydroid-container.service
is it possible to automate this?
As Calendar and Address Book in Plasma Mobile are so basic, I'd rather use the LineageOS counterparts.

Payment via PayPal for russian customers.

When trying to pay via PayPal, an error occurs: We couldn't complete your payment for you. To get your payments working again, check your account or contact us.
What can be done to buy? Can I pay by card directly or through another payment system?
Everything worked fine 7-10 days ago.

I did not find an existing topic on this topic.

  Bluetooth on the PPP
Posted by: Dragonborn - 03-06-2022, 04:19 PM - Forum: General Discussion of PinePhone Pro - Replies (2)

I've been testing the bluetooth on the Pinephone Pro the last few days (I listen to a lot of music), and I am curious if anyone has found anything to help with the audio quality. Seems like there is a lot of compression randomly and stuttering in the audio. I've inspected the config files in /etc/bluetooth for a value to help with this, but I haven't found anything super helpful quite yet.

For reference, I am running Mobian. My Pinephone is usually in my pocket and I will have my Airpods in. The audio is typically fine, but it occasionally becomes super compressed for a random amount of time and then returns to normal. Seems to really dislike me moving around. I have had one random disconnect and the bluetooth disabled itself in the software settings and I had to manually restart it.

I can always go back to wired headphones if needed, but I'll have to go buy a set.

Thanks!

  Biktorj's firmware
Posted by: user641 - 03-06-2022, 02:36 PM - Forum: Mobian on PinePhone - Replies (5)

I recently installed biktorj's firmware on my pp, after that my modem every now and then loses signal, the 4g signal is off and it disappears from settings, rebooting fixes that. Is it recommended to reflash mobian after changing the firmware, will it help?

Pinephone stuck on 'something went wrong' after update
Posted by: gofishus - 03-06-2022, 01:21 PM - Forum: Manjaro on PinePhone - Replies (1)

Hi, I updated my Pinephone using these instructions https://wiki.pine64.org/wiki/PinePhone_U...structions

$ sudo pacman -Syu

after his command it tried to do an update abut after a few minutes of downloading different packages it crashed and now when I start up the phone there's a screen that says 'something went wrong' with only a logout button. If I press logout, the Manjaro UI shows for a split second before the phone loops back to the lock screen again. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue and get it back to a working state? Thanks

  Phone not reading sim
Posted by: For_lack_of_a_better_name - 03-06-2022, 01:10 PM - Forum: General Discussion of PinePhone Pro - Replies (6)

I got a micro sim, from the store, put it in, and restart the phone. The phone still says sim locked, and when I go into settings, it says no sim card installed. What should I do? UPDATE: It now says modem not available
