| Manjaro Plasma Beta 11 sleep issue after 3/22 update |

I've been running the latest Beta on my Pro ever since I got it, and was quite happy when they solved the mobile data issue with the release of Beta 11, however, as of yesterdays' update (3/22/22), it goes to sleep and never wakes up. The only solution is to do a hard reset (hold the power button for a long time).
Is anyone else seeing this, and / or does anyone know a way to fix it?

Anyone else's UART RX (serial input) stopped working? |

I installed and was happily running OpenBSD on my RockPro64 v2.1 for many months. At some point I needed to wipe and reinstall everything. When I attached the serial console as usual, I realized that I was only ever able to get serial output FROM the board, but was no longer ever able to send any serial TO the board.
I have performed all of the expected troubleshooting steps many, many times to figure out what the heck I'm doing wrong:
- rechecked TX, RX, and GND connections
- rechecked serial terminal baudrate and settings (correct because I'm getting good serial output)
- swapped out different FTDI USB-serial cables
- confirmed I was able to use the same FTDI cable to send and receive on a different SBC
- connected both TX and RX lines to an oscilloscope (with serial decoding) to monitor that I was, indeed, sending and receiving valid serial data to/from the board
At this point I'm starting to think that I must either have inadvertently shorted the UART RX pin to something bad and blown the OC/OV/ESD protection in the silicon, or maybe there is even a manufacturing defect.
As my next debugging step I was going to start writing firmware to manually read the RX pin and see if it picks up signal changes, but I wanted to check with folks here and see if anyone has encountered this and/or if someone can suggest an easier debugging strategy.
Thanks much!

I'm very excited to learn about Quartz64. I've been looking for a more modern replacement for my RockPro64 and this looks ideal.
As I am strictly running OpenBSD on my devices, I'm wondering if anyone is currently working on porting OpenBSD to Q64.
Thanks much!

Cause of failure: failed to reinstall the system, resulting in the red indicator light on when starting up, but the screen is black.
Long press the power button to shut down, and then prepare the native default system, preferably the image of the latest version of Manjaro arm KDE, write it to the SD card and insert it into the SD card slot. At the same time, put the image of the system into a USB flash disk and insert it into the notebook.
Then, remove the back cover, press and hold the recovery key (one of the two small black cylinders) above the motherboard with your fingertips, and then press the power key. At this time, the screen flashes several times for a long time. After it is displayed normally, it will enter the SD card system. During startup setting, do not install the system. In the trial state, open the start button, find the manjaro arm flasher , open it, find the system image in the USB flash disk in the path, set the partition where the installation location EMMC is located, press start , and exit the flasher tool after running is completed。
Next, click the start button to shut down.
Then, unplug the USB flash disk and SD card and turn it on.

Hi,
I put Tow-boot on the SPI. Then I flashed Manjaro-ARM-gnome-pbpro-22.02.img to a SD card, booted from it and used the manjaro-arm-installer to put Manjaro on my eMMC. I selected the minimal version with FDE. The installer finishes and I turned of the PBP. I removed the SD card and turned it on again. Tow-boot showed up and I pressed ESC to select to boot from eMMC (I guess this is not required since the eMMC is higher up in the boot order than the SD). Booting however fails each time and gives the errors that are visible in the following image: https://imgur.com/Wek8KNw
Did this happen to anyone else? I tried multiple times now with tow-boot and u-boot. I tried with the minimal and gnome versions with and without FDE. Can somebody help please?

| Looking for app recommendations |

Hello everyone,
Today I am looking for game apps I can download in my pinephone so my kidos could have something interesting/fun but that it helps them academically speaking.
For example, I have a son in the 10th grade, he is advanced in math, so I have been looking for calculus homework help near me with no luck so he can start studying for his AP courses and examinations (which he will present next year).
So I searched around for calculus help websites or free calculus help online, but honestly, I am willing to pay for an app or a subscription as long as it's good.
We found this StudyPug site thanks to other parents' recommendations at school, it's like a calculus tutor or calculus help actually, it's a good app on an android phone apparently where they can see video lessons and has some interactive features like problems and such... but besides a typical course, I would like to complement this with a more fun way... so is there any game out there which could help students in such subjects? And furthermore, do we know of anything like this for a pinephone?
I would be interested in anything math or physics related apps.
Any recommendation? Thanks in advance!

Hi,
I'm interested in real life data how much power PineNut need to operate.
My plan was to use them as solar powered ground moisture meters. They gonna wake up, and then report to base how wet/dry are ground, and go sleep back.
Also I'm not sure if i gonna play with BT LE mesh or just use WiFi. Size of grass is around 10x20m.
I need some real life data to decide if making it solar powered is possible or not.
