[WIP] KDE Plasma Mobile 6.0 Builds & Ports

Has anyone started trying to port this over: https://liliputing.com/kde-plasma-6-mobi...rovements/ first we got that then we also got systemd https://9to5linux.com/linux-mobile-distr...kde-plasma IDK enough about it to even attempt a port over or build but Plasma has always been one of my favorites and most appealing to the eyes.

I'd think that with such things, there is probably some work being done already. I'd think we'd might get better answers on a Matrix server.

I did a full system upgrade and am running Plasma 6 now on the PPP. Had a minor issue where the login screen was black, but after much searching I found I needed to pacman -S qt6-wayland, and reboot. After that it's worked.

The update is great. Applications launch and operate more smoothly. Some nice UI tweaks. I've seen a lot of bug reports from this update, but the push to wayland and the like is bound to cause problems: https://www.phoronix.com/news/Plasma-6.0...nd-Default

If you are using Plasma Mobile, you were already using Wayland in Plasma 5. Plasma Mobile does not support X11 at all.

I just confirmed my pinephone pro booting into plasma-mobile 6. Not perfect, but you can check the plasma-mobile 6 UI.
