Which OS are you using that makes your general experience much better then RPi if you are talking about Raspberry?

I assembled the PI laptop from a $300 kit.

The Pinebook seems to be constructed better, of course the purpose is a little different from a PI-top.

The Pinebook has a camera, microphone and speakers (on the bottom).

The GPIO pins on the PI, a very big feature, are all used in the setup of the PI-top.
