Hi n13931n,
If you have tried to do the update process from your new Pine Phone, which I assume is out of the box, I guess you must have a version that is a bit too old, which can cause unexpected problems. These two commands are used to remove packages that are no longer needed to run the system normally, so in principle this error shouldn't happen.
Can you go to Settings, System Information, then tell me the versions of the following items:
- KDE Plasma Version
- Kernel Version
