Awesome! Look forward to trying it out, ayufan is a very busy person. Will it have the same PBP optimizations as the default Debian has?
#3
It effectively has even more and in some cases (compositing performance with GPU) seems to be faster.

Is there a chance of getting the LXDE/Mate versions built for arm64 for those of us that armhf is not an option? Cheers!
#5
Unlikely, but. Download `bionic-minimal` for `arm64`. Configure networking with `nmtui` for example and run `install_desktop.sh mate`.

That’s work fine for me. I was concerned that all the required packages might not be present. However if the are all there, I have no issues installing in this manner.

There's no arm64 version of Widevine.

A quick searched turned up something. So it looks like it was built at some point?

Take a look at the list of files in that package, it's all documentation. No working implementation that I can see Sad

No, no, no. There's simply no widevine anywhere yet for arm64. The armhf are taken from Chrome OS images instead.

It will be once Google gonna have some production-ready arm64 device with Chrome OS. It will happen definitely,
but not yet.
