Look forward to trying it out, ayufan is a very busy person. Will it have the same PBP optimizations as the default Debian has? RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - ayufan - 08-31-2019 It effectively has even more and in some cases (compositing performance with GPU) seems to be faster. RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - sjk - 09-02-2019 Is there a chance of getting the LXDE/Mate versions built for arm64 for those of us that armhf is not an option? Cheers! RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - ayufan - 09-02-2019 Unlikely, but. Download `bionic-minimal` for `arm64`. Configure networking with `nmtui` for example and run `install_desktop.sh mate`. RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - ayufan - 09-02-2019 There's no arm64 version of Widevine. 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - sjk - 09-03-2019 A quick searched turned up something. So it looks like it was built at some point? https://packages.debian.org/search?arch=amd64&keywords=chromium-widevine Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - CampGareth - 09-04-2019 (09-03-2019, 07:19 PM)sjk Wrote: A quick searched turned up something. No working implementation that I can see RE: 0.9.14 Release: Ubuntu 18.04 with Mate & LXDE Desktop - ayufan - 09-05-2019 No, no, no. There's simply no widevine anywhere yet for arm64. The armhf are taken from Chrome OS images instead. It will be once Google gonna have some production-ready arm64 device with Chrome OS. It will happen definitely, but not yet. |
