Has anyone else a DHL Shipment on hold?



I can see on the status tracker that the package is located not far up the road from me. However, it has been "shipment on hold" since Thursday, with a new "shipment on hold" status for every day since. Also, the first "shipment on hold" message has the following description: "Shipment held - Available upon receipt of payment".


Does this mean I need to contact DHL and settle a balance? I would prefer not.

Though it also says "The shipment will be processed in the next available movement" for today's "Further Detail".



I note that I originally bought economy postage for my PinePhone, but then I bought among the first batch of DHL upgrades.

It looks like sales team ignoring my messages
Not only on canceling order but even on questions on dhl delivery to Russia(the last question I was answered in this thread couple days ago.)

Have you written to sales@pine64.org as well, or only in this thread?
@ReleaseTheGeese yes, it does appear that you will have to contact DHL, I'm afraid.  From the looks of it, your package is being held at customs, and they may need your receipt to clear it.

[edit 1 July] I have good news. An alternative shipping option to Asendia has been found and we are able to ship to the following destinations:
DE, ES, NL, IT, CZ, IE, BE, PT, PL, HU, FI, DK, ED, GR, ED, SE, LT, CY, LV, EE, LU, SK, AT, GB
Shipment to the above destinations will go out tomorrow, July 2nd.
This clears out the vast majority of outstanding shipments.


I ordered my PinePhone with Asendia shipment to Japan (Tokyo) the 3rd April.
Updated to DHL the 24th of June.

For the moment I never received any news from Sales.
Do you know anything about shipment to Japan ?

PS: I alredy ordered a PineTime last year without any issue (before Covid19 of course...).
