Which kind of distro do you use on Pinebook?

I am ordering the Pine book. just got coupon! woohoo
question: can Kubuntu version of Ubuntu run well on pinebook? That will be my preferred Linux(user friendly) for wife.

Please advise asap,

I have one day left to order and coupon expires. (though I just found it in my email).

Yes, Kubuntu runs well, I am using it as my default desktop environment.
