Newbie pinebook owner

Just want to say i love the pine book 14 so far.

a few newbie questions.
what i really want to do with this pine book is use AMIBIAN or Happiga Amiga images that are for the PI
can anyone help my with figuring this out.

now being a newbie i know they are both ARM, and i presume slightly different kernels?

i really have no idea but would appreciate any help.

hi,  use the pine installer and update the pinebook image to the latest ubuntu mate, if you have not done that yet.

PI images will not run on the pinebook primarily due to the uboot bootloader stuff;  and also because the hardware is quite different, therefore the device tree is different as well other specifics of the board layout.

AMIBIAN and Happiga are UAE4ARM(?).... hadnt seen that for the Pinebook by now

The only what I could shortly test was FS-UAE on Q4OS - but this is extremely slow, because
there is no acceleration for the gfx-card and FS-UAE .(

So we have to wait for a version of uae4arm, uae4all2 or AmiBerry coming to the Pine64 and/or Pinebook

well i have poked around and been told i need to change things in the make file, i am not really getting anywhere,.

can anyone download uae4arm and compile it on pine book ?
