I've received a developer board (1 GB) today and directly checked a few things.
I'm using a Samsung Evo+ 64 GB microSD card with a 5V / 2A power supply.
I used PhoenixCard 3.09 to "burn" RemixOS on my microSD card.
The first boot time was something about 13-15 minutes.
Yes, the OS was a bit laggy, but a simple reboot via SystemUI fixed that!
It's the same for official Android 5.1.1 image.
The next boot time was about 80 seconds for RemixOS.
