Attached is the screenshot of emacs menubar+toolbar.

Update: I tried issuing the following commands:
$ ldd /bin/emacs
the output of which is in the attachment as a text file.
ldd_output.txt (Size: 7.57 KB / Downloads: 434)
I also try to figure out if xaw3d is used by emacs by any means. Apparently not. I installed xaw3d from pacman to see if it changes anything. It didn't.
I will compile emacs to see if it makes any difference. Bottom line I will leave emacs as is for the time being and try to switch to either xfce or another gtk based environment.
