Hello

I am on Manjaro 20.07 xfce and my emacs works as expected. Can you make a screenshot to clarify your problem?
On my machine emacs 26.3 is running from the pacman repos. Emacs 27 from guix is running, too.

A few weeks ago I compiled the latest emacs by myself on another PBP and this one was also working. Compilation takes a while though Smile

Tested with Vanilla, spacemacs and doom emacs.

So, chances are good, that you get your emacs up and running on your PBP as you wish.
