The second batch is much larger -- 1000 units, all dedicated to preorders. These coupons will start being sent out in a couple weeks and stretch out to about 6-7 weeks from now. Units ship about 8-10 weeks from now.

Beside the e-mail, is there another way to check for the coupon? (on-line ticketing system, webform, etc.)

GMail has a horrendous tendency to flag these mails as SPAM.

They come from pinebook@pine64.org with a subject of "Meet your New 14" Pinebook Pro!"

You could probably add a rule to make sure they don't go into spam. My first couple emails did, but once I flagged them as not spam in Gmail, the code one came through without a problem.

Just being paranoid here - I have received the coupon, claimed it (further attempts confirm it is not usable anymore) and purchased the pinebook pro. I have the paypal receipt for the payment but still no confirmation email in sight (besides the one containing the coupon). Am I suppose to receive one immediately or will I get notified in september when it's shipped?

I'm quite sure I had the same doubt when I got my first Pinebook but I can't remember how it ended.

I got my code through Gmail. If you mark the confirmation email as not spam, it gets dropped in your main inbox.

Strange, I immediately applied for the PBP, once the site worked yesterday. Now I read all of you receive coupons, I don't hear anything. I am sure I applied in the very first minutes the site worked...

@linux-Rob, lots of people probably tried at the same time. I got caught in the glitch which delayed me by 30 mins. I was actually watching the site for an hour before the link went live, just to get hit with a delay in the end. Oh well, it happens. I'm not sure where I am on the list but I'm sure I'll get a coupon code within the next few weeks.

UK folks - Goods being sent into the United Kingdom normally attract a 20% VAT levy plus a royal mail admin fee of about 8 GBP. Additional fee should be around the 40 GBP mark
