Android 5.1.1 TV (old-stable, no longer maintained)

Super cool!

- I had to use 100Mb ethernet - 1000Mbps would not work.
- 4k has the image compressed in the top half of the screen, although colour extends to the bottom sometimes with noise.
- cheap 4k tv doesn't have CEC

Played with it for a bit. Was definitely able to get my 1000Mbps connection going, which is great. Don't have a 4k to test with unfortunately. Menu seemed quite snappy. Tried to throw Netflix on it, but couldn't find the correct compatible version. Definitely a fantastic start you have with this, please keep er going so it can become my daily driver. Love the fact that I can navigate the menus without the need for a full keyboard. Appreciate all the hard work with this build!

TraJiK: try to sideload Netflix using `adb install`. Download APK from: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/netflix-inc/

Works really well on 1080p TV. Love the Android TV remote control app functionality. Really only could do with some suspend / standby button, as you stated the built in sleep will not wake up. Really awesome build overall, thanks for this.

I went to Chrome and searched for netflix, in the google results was a link to the Play store.  Choose the new Netflix (Stylized N on a black background) not the old one (rounder N on a white background).  Click and install, and it's in the Sideloaded Apps app, not the main screen.  No need to sideload with adb.

So it's not Netflix for TV Smile

Can you give us exact install procedures or create an image that we can just put on the SD Card and run.
My thoughts are with the same as most of us bought the Pine64 for using as Android box. And would be very grateful if someone put video or install procedure step by step.
Thanks
