I followed the tutorial on the wiki to create a boot able sd-card with Phoenix card. Put the card in the board and then plugged in a 1.5 amp power supply and nothing. No screen output or no led on the board.

In hindsight, I suspect my username reveals my frustration. Received my 1Gb board today and hurried off to download, via the Wiki, the latest Android version, WinRar and Phoenix. I unpacked the Android Image into it's own folder and likewise Phoenix. Opened the Phoenix application and went off to select my Android image file 'android-ver5.1.1-20160428-pine64-8GB' (7,569,408 KB). I immediately got the Phoenix error message "Script not found. Please use new image version".
I've tried deleting the downloaded Android file and re-downloaded (incase it had become corrupt in download) and unpacked, this time using Winzip. Same result when I try to select that image file with Phoenix ( "Script not found. Please use new image version")
I've tried downloading different Android versions (all via Wiki) with the same results.
Any idea what I might be doing wrong here people?

Hello there!
I've been piddling with my 2G board for a little while and, of course, had the usual set of issues that happen. I'm not even slightly annoyed by this as I know what I was getting myself into backing a project like this! On that note, I'd like to thank the devs and the team for all of their hard work and for putting up with the angry people who need a time out and a cookie.
But, one thing I think people would find really helpful is a single location summary of known bugs, and their workarounds. Maybe there could be sticky thread places somewhere, and categorize them by general group, and then put the higher priority/greater group affected first.
A good example is I've been having the "purple screen" issue caused by using an HDMI->DVI adapter. When it first happened, it would have been wonderful to know that that was a problem.
Anyhoo, just my two cents.

I was an early backer of the project and when my board arrived a couple of weeks ago, I didn't have time to work with it. And then I couldn't find a microSD card and had to order something and I just finally got around to trying to power the board on yesterday, but it doesn't do anything. I've tried both Android and Linux images, but the board does pretty close to nothing at all. The orange power light comes on, and that's it. Reading forum posts suggested that it takes awhile to boot the first time, but it still hadn't done anything when I checked on it this morning after being plugged in overnight. I used a power adapter that charges tablets and quick charges my nexus 6 with no issues and that is rated as 2.4A at 5v, so I don't think that's the problem.
2GB board
PNY 64GB class 10 U3 microSD card
Monoprice 2.4A power adapter ( http://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=13915 )
Monoprice premium HDMI cable
Acer 1080p LCD screen and LG 720p TV both tried
Please advise me as to the next steps, either in troubleshooting or in returning this for replacement. I sent this as an email a bit over a week ago but decided to try a forum post after today's Kickstarter update. Thanks!

I just wanted to check if it is suggested to use a heat sink/fan for my Pine64.
I was using my Pine64 for about 2 hours last night to watch some videos in Kodi and after that, just out of curiosity, I touched the A64 chip and it was super hot, I did not measure the temperature but i felt it was hot enough to melt the circuit if i watch videos for a longer duration.
Specifics:-
Pine 64 - 2GB
OS - Android, 04/28/2016 image flashed using Phoenix card.
Outside temp - 21 degree Celsius
Other - No overclocking

VPN issue on Pine64
I was trying to use OpenVPN client in the latest Android(04/28) build and the OpenVPN status shows as connected. However, I am not able to connect to the Internet with VPN 'ON' . I had the same issue with RemixOS. I am not sure if the VPN provider is blocking or is it something related to Pine64. Does anyone have this issue or is there away to find the root cause of this problem(probably a log or something).
Specifics:-
Pine 64 - 2GB
VPN provider - PIA VPN
OS - Android, 04/28/2016 image flashed using Phoenix card.
