I have one of these teed up and ready for the arrival of my Pine64+ 2GB. However, I have one question. My Raspberry Pi's have a difficult time support 64GB cards and require filesystem complexity to set them up. It is for this reason that I only use 32GB cards on my Pis.
So, my question is a simple one. If I use a 64GB card in my Pine64 can I access it as one (large) storage volume? If this is an issue, I could use a 32GB card because I have one of those around as well.
Is there any way to expand the /data partition so that it covers the entire sdcard? Because it seems that the android image does not fill up the entire sdcard when flashed.
Hello I just ordered my Pine 64 2 GB board with wifi/bluetooth module yesterday. I will not be getting it until May but I am looking forward to it. To be honest it was an impulse buy. I am not sure what I really want to do with it and have never had anything like this before. I will be looking forward to doing some research about the possibilities. I am leaning toward making it an emulator for gaming, never have really messed around with those either. I have some basic startup questions which I am sure I will find answers to through the forums. I will be looking through these forums and I am sure will have many questions prior to my board arriving and especially when it arrives. Thank you everyone for all of your input in these forums.
This is a bootable SDCard Image that only suitable for Pine A64 with 1GB & 2GB ram version.
After unrar the file, use Allwinner PhoenixCard Bootable SDCard Creator to create the bootable SDCard.
I am using a 8GB memory card and the PhoenixCard software as suggested and I am trying to use the most recent build of Lollipop that was posted and I am getting an error. Any help or suggestions. I am trying to boot up my board to test it out since I received it yesterday in a banged up box.
If you have not seen this then I have added a LINK here and below to read more about it
But I am just wondering if any one here would know if it will work with the PINE64?
I am thinking of using one of mine as a gadget for Geocaching not sure what I will do but I have a background in electronics so I hope to make it into some sort of puzzle maybe
any one else geocache and ever come across a cool cache that used electronics?
