display problem - florianl - 04-26-2016 i powering up the pine 64 2gb and nothing in the screen . i tried different screen and cables and none of them getting singles i Installed the software like he did in the video and noting happening when i turn it on https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjJ62s5DxPc&feature=youtu.be RE: display problem - Darkover - 04-26-2016 Pine64 2GB is pushing 1080p/60Hz signal (I don't understand this very well), you need monitor which is able to handle it. If your monitor is for example 1050p/60Hz native, it won't power up. You can try it using HD TV if you have some (1080p). RE: display problem - shepscrook - 04-27-2016 You also pretty much HAVE to use an HDMI cable. You can't use an HDMI to DVI adapter. I found that out the fun way as well. RE: display problem - baryluk - 04-27-2016 Just to report that I successfully used HDMI to DVI adapter on Pine 2GB without any issue. Monitor is Crossover 3020mdp (2560x1600). Unfortunetly I do not know the model of the adapter. I used it only for initial testing. Hey, please see this thread I've created as an ad-hoc solution to this problem: http://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?tid=827 What type of cable/adapter are you using ? |
