Any word about Android builds?

I got Android on there by using dd with the mrfixit image. It took several attempts to get my system booted, it kept going into the recovery mode. Now everything is up and running, which is a good start; no gapps are installed with the pinebook pro image I used. I need to look up how to root this device.

You can enable freeform desktop pretty easily with it. Unlock developer settings, check "Allow all apps to be resizable," open a terminal (or use a computer with ADB) and drop in a couple of commands. Here's a quick guide for anyone interested.

I would like to add Android to eMMC for multiboot, but I cannot read the SD card partitions after installing Android to SD in Linux, seems like there is just one unrecognized partition. Strange, that it boots and works.

Does anyone else have "Prepare IDB Fail" when attempting to flash with RKTools?
