TV64, a Android TV Experince 0.2

Yes, DroidMote worked perfectly. Thank you!

Now, from what I have experienced so far, this system is working exactly as I had hoped. Except for one thing, which I find very strange:

I have some albums with 5.1 channels encoded to DTS or AC3 file formats, one file per album, with a cue sheet to get track titles and timings. In Kodi I have set "passthrough" for DTS and AC3 files. The signal is transferred to the receiver through S/PDIF, extracted from the HDMI out. So I would think that Kodi does nothing except passing the data directly to the receiver, which does the decoding. The problem is that the music is played back at the wrong speed/pitch, it is too slow. And then the album is cut off too early. DTS files are encoded to 48000 hz, but it seems like Kodi thinks it is 44100 hz. I do get 5.1 channels. There is no problem with CDs ripped at 44100 hz. I have a Raspberry Pi sitting next to it, and the Pi is playing back the files perfectly. So this problem must be specific to either the board or Kodi for Android. Has anyone else experienced this?

I was able to get this running on my 1GB Pine, but it is very laggy. My Pine got very hot and powered off. This happened three or four times before I realized that was getting hot and probably shutting down because of that. What could be the issue here?

I am looking to make a media center that can access Netflix, uTorrent, Plex, etc. so it can pull movies and TV from my server as well as online, from a remote location.

Passthrough doesn't work as it should... the sound fails a lot when playing files in Kodi, this board is far from being able to do anything right now... it's just for experimenting stuff.

Yesterday Google Play uninstalled itself after displaying a message that it was incompatible with my device. Before that happened I installed some programs from my PC.

This software is in alpha state. Better stick with your RPi for now.

Same here. no ethernet at all under settings. I have tried both the Android 5.1.1 and Android TV images and same result on either.

Also can't get any of my wifi adapters to work.

Ditto. Ethernet not working at all. Using 2GB board.

Hi.
Just install and reinstall this DD image on my Pine64(2GB).
Twice i have seen purple screen and mouse point.
After few attempts of rebooting, i understand, that without Ethernet cable i have working Android. But if i connect Ethernet cable, the screen become purple(or blue) and i can't do anything.
That's the problem?
