DOA — power light but screen not working

Just unpacked the shiny new laptop, it's charged up and the power light goes green when powered on but the screen remains off. Nothin. Black.

Suggestions?

One or two suggestions:

• If you shake the machine, does anything rattle? If so, the eMMC might have come loose, so you need to open it, and re-seat the eMMC.
  
• Find a distro (such as Manjaro) for SD card, flash it using a different PC, and try to boot from that; any luck?

Changed switch inside the laptop switch 24 and now it works.
