PinePhone BE & Pinebook Pro shipping update thread

just received my second pinephone (because i like it so much), but it is not booting with microsd card inserted (i know what i'm doing).. submitted a ticket and hope to get it fixed

i think a way to fix this is pine64 sending me a new board for me to replace the faulty one.. still waiting for a solution to Ticket Id #9881:

"It's not booting with microSD card inserted, something is wrong with the pins to the microSD card, i think.

If i compare my other PinePhone those contacts look different (i use a flashlight to shine light on it).

If i insert the microSD card to my other PinePhone, it is booting correctly."

(i know how to write images to sd cards for them to boot, the problem is not me, i'm computing since 1998)

Or can i send the faulty pinephone back and get a refund?

i just want it to work..

delivered at Bremen, GE before noon. It's OK, running, update, SD chip works, convergent monitor TV fine.Phone and SMS works. A note about delivery : It was our old german post that finally delivered at Bremen. Not DHL. Logistic company from Polen appearently sent it to Frankfurt ( East-GE, Odra) . No mail from DHL, though tracking started monday 10.5 from Berlin.

In my case, the PineBook team has encountered an "invalid ZIP code error" message when attempting to create the DHL shipping label.  My shipping address was not a P.O. box but it was a civic address in rural Canada.

I have emailed the PineBook team three times (May 7, May 10, May 14, all to pinebook@pine64.org) to request a change of shipping address to an urban civic address, which should definitely work for DHL shipments because I have used it successfully in the past.  So far, the PineBook team does not seem to acknowledge or understand my request to change the shipping address.  Judging by the emails I have received, there is a language barrier.

Could @Luke or someone please advise on how to best resolve this problem of changing the shipping address?

They instruct me to contact DHL.

DHL informs me that PINE logistic team didnt passed package to DHL, yet So they dont have anything to send via dhl.

Its already 8 days since You (pinephone team) said the package is sent via DHL, but dhl didnt picked up the package from you. im getting really frustrated by whole situation right now.

This becomes pretty ridiculous since distribution centre is located in poland , im from poland . I've seen on forum pineboard packages are sent to people in germany and i cant get any serious contact to someone from poland in my case.

I Would like to contact logistic team directly (imho best way) to stop this sending emails mumbo jumbo , and resolve the problem ASAP. If it is impossible , maybe You, @Luke Lukasz will be helpfull in this situation

Update:  I have now received email confirmation that my shipping address has been changed as requested.  Along with this, I have received information that my order will be dispatched by the end of May and that a tracking number will be provided once available.

Drop by the chat and PM me please - as I explained in the past, I stay clear of support because helping one person obliges me to help the next too (ultimately this would become a full time job just doing this) but also secondly because support isn't really thrilled when I meddle.

That said, if it is just a question of placing a phone call and figuring out why the parcel wasn't picked up, then I can do that.

Hello, I am in the US and ordered a pinebook pro on the 30th of April. Will my order be shipping out next week (week of the 24th)? I'm very patient, just looking for some clarity.
