Hey Luke, do you have any link to KDE Neon website/downloads so I can tweak the wiki? Everywhere I land looks pretty dormant and no mention of PinePhone (e.g. Plasma Mobile forums.)
BTW watch for Manjaro ARM coming up on the outside! Also for your pt 2!

If there is a part 2 then a retro gaming os would be a nice addition.

I have a feeling we won't be seeing a Batocera or Recalbox image for the PinePhone(PineTab would make sense, though,) but much of the emulation software should still be possible to install on several of the Os options being developed.

I was thinking lakka but have no idea if the a64 build would work straight out of the box. https://forum.pine64.org/showthread.php?...8#pid55948

It wouldn't, but neither would it take much work to make it functional.

Has anyone had any luck with Recalbox on the PinePhone?

None of the OSs cover all the basic functionalities and the phone is not a speed-horse.
Why are you working to get KDE running on it? Why don't you sell and donate to only the OS that has the most functionality until it's useful as a phone. It's not bad hardware for under $200 but I don't feel you are making professional decisions. |
