trouble with installing emacs
#1
i just got my pinebook pro today and i am struggling to install emacs. i used the command sudo pacman -S emacs. but i continually get an error that it has not installed or updated any packages. is there a different way to do this? i am fairly new to manjaro. i mostly have used unbuntu in the past.

Can't help you with pacman, but what happens if you type:
pamac install emacs
WITHOUT sudo?
