Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress (2020)
After a few months it seems to me that the pandemic excuse can’t stand anymore.

Considering it, there’s no more choices but recognise you’re a fraud.

In this situation we get two alternatives:


  1. You give me a final reasonable dead line to send my phone (something like 30 days);
  2. Or I assume my frustration and you pay me back for I can spend my money in something will really be delivered.

I’m raising in every channel I can to make public the fraud you are until you do one of the two alternatives suggested above.

On July 15, I ordered a payment for purchase a 14 ″ PINEBOOK Pro LINUX LAPTOP (ISO, UK Keyboard) but I have not received an order number .

The system sending out confirmations suffered from a failure following heavy load of traffic related to the PinePhone. If the paypal transaction succeeded then you have nothing to worry about. Sorry about this

I understand that you would be frustrated-nothing worse than being left hanging without answers. Could you dispute via PayPal to get your money back?
Not sure if Paypal gives you 3 or 6 months to fill a complaint, but I would not wait too long. Even if this is not pine64 fault or DHL fault... you have to be sure you are getting either the product or your money.

My phone is being processed by customs now!

Ordered 2020-04-27 to Sweden with "PinePhone Shipping" (that would be Asendia, I guess).

After manually selecting 4PX as carrier on 17track.net, the tracking looks like this:

Since 2020-07-25 I can also find the package on the tracking page of the national carrier (PostNord) using the same tracking number.

Yesterday, 2020-07-27, I got a text message from PostNord with instructions for how to pay VAT (355 SEK) + customs fee (75 SEK). Easy! (I did add a note to Pine64 when I bought the phone: "Please state actual/true value on customs declaration!" to minimise any hassle, and luckily they seem to have honored that!) Of course any socially responsible company would not try to commit tax fraud by systematically writing down the value of the goods they send ... Confused
