Since I spilled water on my keyboard, I have with the help of a 2nd pinebook narrowed down the issue of its nonfunction to the power button itself. I simply can't find an alternative way to turn it on. How do?
Broken power key or keyboard, can I still turn it on?

What happened to the active community for this thing?
It's still cool, where are you? I'll reverse engineer the keyboard my own self.

There are schemattics (although it is also useful to take a look at the device tree to see how the power key is specially handled): https://wiki.pine64.org/index.php/Pinebo...ifications Based on the schematic and devicetree, I'm pretty certain the power key is a simple physical button and it bypasses the keyboard controller entirely. There's a signal running directly from the 30 pin connector to the PMIC PWRON pin, I think this is the power key.

Yeah, it appears stuck in the on position. So I just put the ribbon cable in, then removed it before it turned off again. It's a place to start.
