I did not notice this, but my Pinephone package had a signature required. Unfortunately I was not home when it was being delivered so I have to wait until tomorrow to pick it up.
My phone finally was scheduled to be delivered today, Since the Postman usually comes at noon I was out there waiting at 11:30 am.
( When I checked the mailbox to see if my Son had picked up yesterdays mail, there was my new Brave Heart... ! )
I guess the mailman came early today !
The package does say " Signature Required "
After spending over a week in New York, apparently it took a day and a half to get across the country...

Yeah, same date and time for me... Brexit revenge? LOL

Item Leaving overseas Switzerland
Mine has been handed to Asendia on 22th January, arrived to my country on 4 th of February, local postal service shows arrived on 6th of February.
They still not handled it.
Also, if they forward it to Customs, that may cause further 10-12 days of delay and ~47.3 EUR (VAT+customs handling) fee...
Local postal service is really can be caller "snail mail" here...
Halleluyah, my phone has emerged from a black hole after 21 days incommunicado and was seen at Royal Mail Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre at 8:04pm this evening.
- ROCKPro64 v2.1 2GB, 16Gb eMMC for rootfs, SX8200Pro 512GB NVMe for /home, HDMI video & sound, Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Arch (6.2 kernel, Openbox desktop) for general purpose daily PC.
- PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition, daily driver, rk2aw & U-boot on SPI, Arch/SXMO & Arch/phosh on eMMC
- PinePhone BraveHeart now v1.2b 3/32Gb, Tow-boot with Arch/SXMO on eMMC
New tracking point in UK, 08:19pm. Royal Mail refer to the location as Langley HWDC while 17track say GBLALA - both references to the worldwide distribution centre near Heathrow.
Finally, after three weeks with no updates, some progress for those in the UK who are waiting for the Brave Heart:
Updated on: Monday 10 February
08:54pm
Item Received LANGLEY HWDC, United Kingdom
I wonder, how long will take to travel from Heathrow Worldwide Distribution Centre to my home address, just over 80 miles...

And just to prove Asendia inability to organise the proverbial p$%*up: I got delivery today of a £3.89 smartwatch ordered on 30 Jan from Guangdong with free P&P!

I think there's still the customs lottery to clear but you never know.
It appears they get around that, for US recipients at least, by marking the package as a "gift".

My mailman was pickier, and did not leave my phone when we had to go out of town for higher priority family trip a few hours earlier. I did get an email later to which I could respond with choice of 2nd chance by picking up at local post office, so I did that today, and have been playing around with UBports on it - not too impressed with its unfinished state, but am impressed by the overall hardware quality and performance, so that is something to work with.
Keeping the Android as the daily driver for some time to come while playing/testing this new toy I think...
