Shame I left the Netherlands yesterday. Not likely to be back in in Europe for a few months.

Ah man, this would be cool. Any chance of a Berlin event? I'm new here, but would help set it up if possible, Linux is ofc huge here in Deutschland.

If there are local developers who interest to host or help up an meetup coincide with certain event, we will consider. Two events that cross my mind in Germany are ccc and embedded world conference.
A PineTab with an e-ink display would be quite interesting for long battery life & outdoor use.
The PaperTTY project is developing TTY support for WaveShare e-ink displays, just checked, they even have a high resolution 10.3" display that could possibly fit the PineTab.

An open e-reader is sadly unlikely. Its simply not possible to beat the Kindle price with similar functionality... I have talked about it with @tllim months ago. |
