Will there be a announcement for when the 3rd batch will be ready for pre-orders? And will the 3rd batch support ANSI?

The third (public) batch pre-order will be announced on August 5th. No ANSI for now.

Sorry, but after the PRE-order are we estimating that it wont exist the posibility of ordering the 128gb version? Soo... this one will be a PRE ORDER EDITION only... hmmmmmmmm...

I'm concerned about this as well. A 128 GB version is a big seller for me, even if it costs above $199. Is it that the 128 GB version shipping to early forum registers is a free upgrade, at $199, but after that the 128 GB version will cost extra? Or is the 128 GB config not actually going to be an option?

It has been stated that the PinebookPro is a 64GB machine but is being fitted with 128GB for forum members as a special batch. Normal "retail" units will come with 64GB pre-fitted and users can purchase a 128GB module from the Pine shop and install it themselves.
"Sorry, you do not qualify for pre-order priority and eMMC upgrade" ОК Good luck. Hope you will not end up with a bunch of non-selling goods

There's no need to be so mean about it.

This is very early days and the PinebookPro is not currently available at all yet and will only be "on the shelf" in three months or so.
As a "special favour" two pre-order batches of machines with bonus 128GB memory for forum members who had joined before July 1st has been made available.

As you joined in August you simply missed the boat for those first two special batches so do not qualify for the pre-order ones.

There appear to be a huge number of folks in the queue for when it does go on general sale albeit with 64GB fitted.

A 128GB model will not be directly available after these preorders, but you could still buy the 64GB version and install a 128GB module yourself (the eMMC is socketed).

When I first looked at the Pinebook Pro, that's how I read it. Comes with 64GB and upgradable to 128GB. And special deal for forum members that joined earlier.

It's strange that more than a few people have trouble reading it that way. To be fair, some use english as a 2nd, (or 3rd, ...), language, so it understandable for some people.

People, this device is not the final ARM64 laptop + configuration.
Who knows, perhaps the 256GB eMMC will drop in price 6 months from now.
Or my personal favorite, an 8GB memory option.
