Pinebook Pro?
About the 128GB eMMC, I guess that (although not for free) there is an option to by the PB Pro with the 128GB of storage right?
I vaguely remember getting up late in the night and trying to order a raspberry pi on day 1. The ordering page was brought down by an overwhelming large demand.

I believe the pinebook pro will become the next big thing. Are you guys ready? Load-balancers are in place?

Load balancers become irrelevant when people start doing more than just browsing around. Merely adding the laptop to the cart would cause servers to get a pretty high load, and could bring the entire website to a halt if done by enough people.

I hope the pre-order won't be so popular that it will be down to luck whether you manage to get a laptop for yourself.

I don't know whether the board for the Pinebook Pro has these ports, but I assume having a way to access them on a laptop with such a form factor would be pretty awkward, and the best solution would be to have some extension cable that you can plug into the laptop. The problem with such approach would be signal integrity, something that matters with high frequency applications like SPI flashing (which would be the most important thing I'd be interested in).

Remember the Commodore 64's expansion port ? https://www.c64-wiki.com/wiki/Expansion_Port

Remember the original BeBox's geek port ? http://www.hardwarebook.info/GeekPort

Otherwise there's the good old parallel port Smile
Do we have any info/pics for the sides of the Pinebook Pro, or to go straight to the point - I'm curious about what ports will be available.
I could swear I've seen the info somewhere below, but for the life of me I just can't find it now. Sad

Its all here

Left side: Power, USB 3.0 and USB-C . The USB-C does power, video out and (obviously) data.

Right side: USB 2.0, headphone jack, mSD

Could you update the page to have the horizontal screen resolution as well? It does not seem to be listed anywhere.

You must have missed it, it says: 14" 1080p IPS LCD panel

For info, to expand a little... standard (Full HD) "1080p" is 1080 vertical by 1920 horizontal pixels
Hi all,

There was confirmation in this thread that m.2 is supported through adapter...
https://store.pine64.org/?product=rockpr...rface-card

Does this mean I'll need to actually open laptop chassis ? I don't think this can fit into chassis ...

Best regards,
Nikola
