There is risk on adding LPDDR4 due to this is first time RK3399 using this memory configuration. Thanks on Rockchip involvement and seems like this risk is paid off.

I'm going to enjoy this soon.  Smile  Cool

Indeed... considering the beefier CPU and heatsink, as well as all the other improved specs, here's hoping this gives some real bang for your buck at this price point... it would be nice to show up some of the other SBC boards well and truly performance vs cost wise!

Agreed. This board will be the best bang for buck at this price point. That's why I'm getting two (if I'm on time).

I just wish the new RockPro64 had an add on DAC in the works.

For Media playback, please use ROCK64 board. ROCKPro64 suitable for high CPU and GPU computation power appliaction, the VPU performance is about the same as ROCK64. Due to this reason, we don't create a ROCKPro64 DAC board.

On the RockPro64 Acrylic Open Enclosure page in the shop, there is this note : "Note: This case only fits ROCKPro64 board without PCIe interface card slot in.".
Is it safe to assume that the RockPrto64 Heatsink does fit this acrylic case ?

And just pushing my luck from here :
If the heatsink does not fit the case, could the top piece be marked with an almost invisible hairline square where the heatsink would have to go through (so that I/we could Dremel it) ?
Or better still a press-out square (although this might upset owners of other Pine boards).

Any updates on shipping date? I was expecting to have delivered to Spain before June, but if you do not ship Rockpro64 soon then that means I could have waited for the production batch...

The first ROCKPro64 batch shipped out on May 11.

Does anyone know if specs/recommendations for the BT/WiFi module U.FL antennas are included with the module ?
I'm looking for recommended antenna gain (DBi), and impedance (Ohm).
I can't find anything about this on the RockPro64 Wiki page.

Indeed, good you pointed out that there is no info about the antennas. The antennas that come with it are rather basic (see picture). If you want something with higher gain then you'd have to get another pair.
