I recently bought a pinebook pro and was surprised how old the manjaro installation was
I've tried to update using both the gui and pacman -Syu
but i'm getting the error:
error: linux: signature from "Furkan Kardame <furkan@fkardame.com>" is unknown trust
:: File /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-6.6.7-1-aarch64.pkg.tar.zst is corrupted (invalid or corrupted package (PG
P signature)).
Is there any way to update the factory image safely?
I can just flash the emmc I am pretty confident I can do this.
This is just a curiosity of purchasing a pinebook pro in 2024
+1 same issue.
I tried updating the keyring yesterday and today with:
sudo pacman-key --refresh-keys
no dice.

Same issue as well.
I tried the below, but that also did not help.
pacman-key --init
pacman-key --populate archlinux manjaro
pacman-key --refresh-keys
Just to note; I attempted to update after flashing Manjaro Sway, so I am not currently on the factory image.
Looks like the key has been updated. I re-ran the above three commands after renaming /etc/pacman.d/gnupg today and was finally able to update the kernel to 6.6.7-1.
I am currently running Manjaro 23.02. I downloaded the XFCE desktop image from the Manjaro site and burned it to an SD card using Etcher. I had not been able to boot the PBP since I purchased it for parts on eBay so this was a hooray moment.
I have been trying to update using the package manager and have had no success. Can I update using the terminal and "sudo pacman update" and "sudo pacman install"? I have also been trying to install software packages without success. Am I missing something? Are there tricks to using the Installation Manager on Manjaro? Any tips or help is always appreciated. Thanks

Have recently converted to Manjaro Mate and it has been a night and day difference. The Mate version runs smoothly, is easily upgradable and can download add-on programs (ie Libre Office). Also, the trackpad allows one finger tap and is totally editable. Give it a try before you sign off on Manjaro.
In my opinion, the operating system of Deepin v23 is the most suitable for Pinebook Pro, and Beta3 runs very smoothly on my Pinebook Pro.
