AsteroidOS is a full Linux distribution, I did not realize this and underestimated AsteroidOS:
"AsteroidOS is built upon a rock-solid base system. Qt and QML are used for fast and easy app development. OpenEmbedded provides a full GNU/Linux distribution and libhybris allows easy porting to most Android and Wear OS watches."

There is wrong information about the PineTime in the web. Here is says "the PineTime is 25 USD Linux smartwatch":

I had somewhere in my mind the information, that the PineTime is a Linux watch, which is a wrong information. Now I know from where it came.
