Phone doesn't boot after latest kernel update

I also had this issue with the blank screen, the phosh.service unit was failing to start according to the logs, so I did the only thing I could think of after reading some troubleshooting:

dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-5.7-pinephone

rebooted and that resolved it!
