In short - WD Blue are SATA interface and will not work on the M2 PCIe adapter from Pine64.
The ROCKPro64 supports NVMe drives via the M2 PCIe adapter - if you stick to WD you need Black.
M2 SATA drives have a Key B (as well as M), NVMe have Key M only.
(Or you could try find a PCIe adapter like mine - I havent tried any SATA on this card yet )
