If so, that is possibly corrupt.
If not, you are probably just having a hard time making a bootable micro-SD card. The most reliable images I've used for that are DietPi and NetBSD.
Keep in mind, that power light doesn't actually indicate that the Pinebook Pro is powered up. It is turned on in software. If the software fails, the computer locks up and the light never gets turned on.
yea, I thought mine was bricked and it turned out the boot loader was broken. Apparently if the computer dies to quick in the process nothing turns the lights on, so it looks like your bricked. My solution was to remove the eMMC and boot from an SD card and then from the card install Tow-Boot. Maybe your issue is different, but that is what my problem was. Apparently you can hot-swap the eMMC card but I don't think you should do that unless you're desperate.
