Looks like the iron made it to slickdeals, and likely other bargain hunter sites. If you're wondering how you missed it, that's a likely factor.

OTOH, the Pinecil has proven to be very popular and could help fund other projects which is nice.

That explains a lot.  The Slickdeals Effect.  And it's at 41 likes on there which is a lot.  I hope Pine realizes what a hit this is going to be, and makes a lot of them soon or they will almost always be out of stock.
