In your 'browser menu' you can adjust the view to 50% or 67%, -- while that is not a total fix, it will help you see more of the page.
I Prefer Gnome Epiphany as my main browser. (The first few uses it seems sluggish, but it runs great after some use)
Epiphany works great for updating the OS through the Software Store. (when it is set as default)
