No I have run opensuse. Didn't see same problems although I used openSUSE-Tumbleweed-ARM-PHOSH-pinephone.aarch64-2020.10.25-Build5.1.raw

Unfortunately I was not able to find this image, it looks like all older versions have been deleted and the current IMHO is bullshit.

Hello @Alefnode ,

Does this image currently support being installed on the internal memory on the 32GB version of the pinephone?

I got it working earlier but for example the 2020.11.14 image would not but from the internal storage.

@choozy He is working on a fix soon we will have a new release where installing to emmc should be working fine...

I added this to p-boot and notified @megous. If booting from eMMC works and the image doesn't grow too big, it might be added to the next multi-boot image.

Finally I'll be able to test this, my PinePhone is arriving in two days!
The thing I am really excited about is how OBS can make porting to arm64 easier, sometimes it is literally just enabling the build target.

At lest wait for today upgrade it will be the more stable build in months, only have som problems with camera app, but i lot of improvements in battery and modem with latest kernel with Megi's patches

Already tested like 4-5 distros and openSUSE has given me the best experience so far, but I am left with a question and two issues:

-Is the 60 fps patch applied yet? It does not seem like (or it could be the PinePhone being what it is)

-I can't send SMS to anyone (Chatty), I keep getting that +5068888 is not a valid number (tried with spaces and no regional prefix, no success). I replicated this while installed on the eMMC and the SD card.
If I send an SMS to the PinePhone through another phone I can reply with no problems, the issue is with starting new conversations.

-When going to the devices section on Files or when opening whatever prompt that invokes files a constant mmblk notifications spams half of the screen (it's installed on the eMMC) and a ROOT partition constantly pops out and back in (or it seems like). I have no idea what this could be.

I think I may take a look at packaging some stuff for Plasma Mobile, priorities would be the Plasma Mobile config files, Neochat and basic IM apps (particularly Spacebar). I'm really new to OBS and so far only packaged one program, but I believe it is not that complicated once I get to know how to use some (definitely undocumented or underdocumented) macros. However, if this is going to happen, we should coordinate to avoid duplicating efforts.
