Pinebook Pro & PinePhone shipping progress (2020)
Are there plans to email, those who purchased the Pine Phone about the DHL upgrade option. It is possible that not everyone who ordered the phone reads the message board regularly.

Nope, why should they Do this?
DHL shipping cost from the beginning 25 bucks, so you paid 10 bucks for shipping with asendia. Now upgrading costs you 15 bucks the prize that anyone paid for DHL shipping.

 Yeah, you folks are doing excellent and this community seems to be really great. Not just this thread, but across the board. So many kind and thoughtful responses on all kinds of topics. I always end my daily forum trolling (reading) with a smile on my face.
I've payed for the dhl upgrade but am wondering, if ascendia decide to ship in the next day or so is it possible to still get it sent via ascendia instead?

I originally selected "Standard Shipping", which for my country (Sweden) means China Post/EMS according to the Shipping policy page. Am I affected by this Asendia issue anyway?

Yes, and to decide if I get a refund by the due date they've given in 2 days I simply want a status update for 2 days now as this forum says I should have had a tracking mail 3+ days ago. I'm told to read the forums. Still nothing.

They just "missed" mine is what I was told

So ya. Refund is an option, but just a clarification of what "missed' entails and this "second shipment" would be nice.
