Hey Luke, do you have any link to KDE Neon website/downloads so I can tweak the wiki? Everywhere I land looks pretty dormant and no mention of PinePhone (e.g. Plasma Mobile forums.)

BTW watch for Manjaro ARM coming up on the outside! Also for your pt 2!
  • ROCKPro64 v2.1 2GB, 16Gb eMMC for rootfs, SX8200Pro 512GB NVMe for /home, HDMI video & sound, Bluetooth keyboard & mouse. Arch (6.2 kernel, Openbox desktop) for general purpose daily PC.
  • PinePhone Pro Explorer Edition, daily driver, rk2aw & U-boot on SPI, Arch/SXMO & Arch/phosh on eMMC
  • PinePhone BraveHeart now v1.2b 3/32Gb, Tow-boot with Arch/SXMO on eMMC

If there is a part 2 then a retro gaming os would be a nice addition.

I have a feeling we won't be seeing a Batocera or Recalbox image for the PinePhone(PineTab would make sense, though,) but much of the emulation software should still be possible to install on several of the Os options being developed.

I was thinking lakka but have no idea if the a64 build would work straight out of the box.

It wouldn't, but neither would it take much work to make it functional.

I installed retropie on it without any skill so should be possible.

None of the OSs cover all the basic functionalities and the phone is not a speed-horse.

Why are you working to get KDE running on it?

Why don't you sell and donate to only the OS that has the most functionality until it's useful as a phone.

It's not bad hardware for under $200 but I don't feel you are making professional decisions.
