Depending on the firmware your PineTime is using and it's companion app, it looks like the best/easiest option is to use the companion app to reset the firmware to factory settings.

Do you mean to say that when I upgrade the firmware it will erase all user data?
I just upgraded it to infinitytime 1.14.0 yesterday (from 1.12.0
So, does that mean I am clear now?

not necessarily. if it was specifically presented as a firmware update and your settings are still in effect after the upgrade, then i'd say no. a firmware update and factory reset aren't usually the same thing.

what companion app are you using on your phone with the watch? We can look through it's documentation to find where the option to factory reset/clear any of your data from the watch.

I'm getting this from GadgetBridge instructions for resetting a different watch (i don't have my own pinetime to refer to either) but it's worth a try: in gadgetbridge > settings > debug do you see a reset option?

Thank you. I found it, using it does not have any visible response from the device.
On the other hand, on further inspection, I am not sure if there is really all that much personal data stored to actually delete.
Does it actually store records of my steps and heart rate monitor results?
it connects via bluetooth. but not wifi. so it shouldn't be storing my wifi password.
