I installed Manjaro to my eMMC. I followed the tutorial until it said to edit the file boot.txt in /boot. There is no boot.txt. I looked in the chroot /boot as well as the eMMC /boot. Both have the following files/dirs:
ls -a
. .. dtbs extlinux idbloader.img Image Image.gz initramfs-linux.img u-boot.itb
Am I doing something wrong?
p.s. - I love the look of Manjaro - sweet looking with KDE Plasma.
Never mind. I install the spi-flash image, used the Micro_SD to install directly to the NVME, and then disabled the eMMC with the switch. It works like a charm. Woo hoo!

Hi,
got my new PBP yesterday. Ordered it with the NVMe adapter and an 512GB Intel NVMe. All good so far. Manjaro off the emmc card is running fine.
Now I wanted trasnfer my Manjaro installation from emmc to NVMe. But the newest release of Manjaro now uses a /boot formatted with FAT16 and a / as root partition.
How about to handle this? I think the explanation/guide from first post has to be modified?
TIA
Uwe
Here it is:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
# Static information about the filesystems.
# See fstab(5) for details.
# <file system> <dir> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>
LABEL=BOOT_MNJRO /boot vfat defaults 0 0
If you label your partitions the same names as Manjaro guys do then you don't have o change fstab.
