HDMI "Format not supported"
#1
Loaded up the Longsleep Ubuntu on my working 2gb Pine. But on a working HDMI I'm getting "Format not supported." I didn't find anything in the Wiki or this forum.
What should I try to get HDMI working?, sam

The problem is that only a very few (two) mode lines are supported;  this really comes down to having the right monitor.   720p60  or  1080p60

You may also be able to use a 1366x768  Samsung  (vga | dvi) by using the hdmi-->vga adapter from the pine store (active interface) ;   I have one of these setups working .   My other two setups both use a modern  1920x1080p60  LG  LED monitor ;  I also have a Samsung  1920x1080p60 monitor that works very  well.

If you have an older monitor you're going to have trouble.

Hi, I'd like to use Pine with my TV that has just the resolution you mentioned (Samsung LE26R32B - WXGA 1366 x 768 Pixel). The TV has VGA connector marked PC and also Jack hole next to it (together they are PC - IN group). So I would use this HDMI->VGA adapter from store, use jack-jack cable to connect Pine audio out to TV audio in and everything should work well?

I'd be really glad to get this working since I already tried out Remix OS with Kodi on my FullHD monitor and I was quite pleased. However, connecting to the TV I currently get "Unsupported mode" error.
