LibreOffice Spellchecker

Morning, could not seem to find any threads that addressed this so I thought I'd start one.
I have LibreOffice (Version: 6.3.6.2) installed on the Pinebook Pro, and it works fine except for one issue.
The spellchecker says it is installed and using English US dictionary, but when the spellcheck is attempted it claims there is no dictionary available. I tried reinstalling the dictionary, then the whole LibreOffice package, changing to another dictionary, and none of these methods worked. Anyone else encountered this? Any ideas?
Thanks! Tim

No battery or wifi after poweroff

Hey I tried to find an answer for this for the last few hours but couldn't. I currently can't get any battery info or wifi or even networking on my pinebook pro.
I've booted it off an SD and the internal emmc. The iemmc is running the out the box Manjaro and the SD was running same but with lxqt on a cryptsetup.
A few days back I'd updated the thing and I think there were well over 60 packages and I don't think it was rebooted at the time.
Last night I let the battery run out after forgetting to plug it in and I'm pretty sure it did a poweroff command but anyways when I went to try it out today there's no battery information that can be gotten and nothing is showing up for networking, there's no wlan0. I've also tried a USB wifi and even that won't do a thing and I know it works.
Also the battery certainly works as I can boot it unplugged and run it without ac power with no issues.
Could there been something I screwed up because I didn't reboot it after those updates or what? What can I do here?
Why does this affect both of these? I only updated the os on the SD card.

Am I very interested in buying a Pinephone (now that it is available in the store) but as I live in Japan it seems I wouldn't be able to buy any battery (amazon will not help too). I would like to know if there is any work for trying to ship the battery to other countries.
I know the legislation is quiet harsh since some accidents with batteries in planes but as they are made in China it would be nice to ship them in Asia (China itself obviously, South Korea and Japan by boat should be OK).

Release CAD files for NAS case or parts of it?

Hi,
Due to costs of logistics and taxes etc is there a possibility to release CAD files for the NAS case, possibly for a small fee or at least the outer case as it would be nice to have a case available with a smaller footprint in case you don't want to use it as a NAS but still want to utilize the PCIe slot such as a network router.
Someone else asked about this several months ago on Twitter without any reply but I can't find the comment now.
Thanks in advance!

I've tried to get USB tethering working on the pinephone without much success.
I followed the steps here (https://wiki.mobian-project.org/doku.php?id=tweaks) a while ago (I think with the 5.6 kernel) and I was able to SSH into the pinephone via USB, but couldn't actually get my laptop to access the internet through the pinephone.
Since installing the new 5.7 kernel, the laptop no longer even sees the pinephone. Is it possible to have USB tethering / SSH access, or is this now not possible with the current kernel? My pinephone is fully updated using apt upgrade and I also have pinephone-devtools installed.

so like many others I purchased the ubuntu touch CE version of the phone when it was released. i like it but i was quite interested into the convergence aspect. I understand that to do that you can remove some chips from the board but I don't want to risk breaking something else.
Could pine release to buy the updated board with the extra ram and emmc so i can swap them out in my device. I obviously don't need any other components and if I had known they would have increased the specs a month after the initial release i would have purchased that instead.

How to change the minimum password length when changing from default passwords

Hey, guys...I'm trying to change my default passwords for default user and root...passwd isn't happy with my password length, yet it's longer than the default 4-character password...what gives? How can I change this requirement to allow for a shorter new password? Also, a related question...mobian is the default user...can I make a new user and have a multi-user system, or is mobian pretty much the only user apart from root that will work with this setup? on the top bar of phosh there's a grayed-out option to logout...wondering if that can be implemented?
Thanks in advance!
