Hi, I have been enjoying the Pinephone as a daily driver for quite some time and distro hop occasionally. I really enjoy KDE + Manjaro and am wondering how to enable using the USB as a networking interface to use sftp/ssh/etc for file transfers, as I find this method to be the most preferable for my personal use case.
Is there a specific kernel module that needs to be loaded, and if so what package is it in, if it is not installed.
It would be nice to have a clear step-by-step to enabling everything required in the Wiki, especially since it seems this is the distro Pinephone will be shipping for the foreseeable future.
Really enjoy how solid the hardware has been, and I am impressed how far the Plasma interface has come in such a short time!

Just got my new Pinephone. It worked OK for a day or so, but now it immediately locks the screen whenever I unlock it. Sometimes it gives me a few (fewer than 5) seconds, and sometimes it re-locks so fast that the lock screen appears without anything else even flashing briefly. Most of the time, it locks in a quarter of a second or less.
I'm trying to update the software to see if that will fix it, but that's just not practically achievable. Discover doesn't seem to be doing anything; I tried it when the phone wasn't displaying this problem. It certainly downloaded a lot, and it told me that the phone needed to reboot, and the phone told me it was installing updates on the boot screen when it did reboot. However, all of the packages remained at the same versions, and Discover reported that the same number of updates needed to be installed. I did this three times to no avail.
This problem appeared some time in the space of a few hours after that.
So now I'm trying pacman. I've unlocked the device hundreds of times now, and I have occasionally been able to enter a single character into the terminal (with my USB keyboard; the on-screen keyboard does not even have a chance to appear). The problem seems to be getting worse, though, and at this rate, I don't expect to be capable of even finishing typing this one command.
I have no idea what the problem is. I am assuming it's a software issue, but I suppose it could be a hardware one. Are there any other reports of this happening? Any suggestions of what to do?
At the moment, I don't have a serial adapter or a microSD card. I'm going to try to acquire them, but suggestions that don't require them are especially helpful.

Hey,
just a quick question. Everything in that application seems to work except the sound "tweaks". Anyone else having the problem that none of the changes to the settings are saved in this subcategory ? Everything else works fine.

every time, I wand to run Waydroid, i must terminal
sudo systemcetl start waydroid-container.service
is it possible to automate this?
As Calendar and Address Book in Plasma Mobile are so basic, I'd rather use the LineageOS counterparts.

When trying to pay via PayPal, an error occurs: We couldn't complete your payment for you. To get your payments working again, check your account or contact us.
What can be done to buy? Can I pay by card directly or through another payment system?
Everything worked fine 7-10 days ago.
I did not find an existing topic on this topic.

| Bluetooth on the PPP |

I've been testing the bluetooth on the Pinephone Pro the last few days (I listen to a lot of music), and I am curious if anyone has found anything to help with the audio quality. Seems like there is a lot of compression randomly and stuttering in the audio. I've inspected the config files in /etc/bluetooth for a value to help with this, but I haven't found anything super helpful quite yet.
For reference, I am running Mobian. My Pinephone is usually in my pocket and I will have my Airpods in. The audio is typically fine, but it occasionally becomes super compressed for a random amount of time and then returns to normal. Seems to really dislike me moving around. I have had one random disconnect and the bluetooth disabled itself in the software settings and I had to manually restart it.
I can always go back to wired headphones if needed, but I'll have to go buy a set.
Thanks!
