Hello?  Anyone following this software's forum?

I read something that suggested initramfs isn't used during maemo-lest startup.  Does that sound right to anyone?
Also, would it make sense that a maemo-leste image would create a write protected sector on a microSD card during boot process?
These both seem like incorrect statements, but...whatdoIknow (enough to ask foolish questions).

I'm currently running Manjaro ARM on my Rock64 and I was able to get steam link installed via the AUR package: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/steam...aspberrypi, and I changed the architecture in the PKGBUILD file to "aarch64" so it would install.
Steam link installed without any issues after that, however whenever I try to launch it, it says that I need 128MB of video memory in order to run it.
Is there anyway that I can change how much VRAM on the Rock64, like what is possible with a  Raspberry Pi?

I have tried both  Armbian 22.11.1 Pinebook pro  image (Nov 30, 2022)     XFCE  and also Gnome. 
Neither of them have working  Bluetooth

I tried for SD card and also  from  EMMC build. Bluetooth does not work. 
I also used  armbian-config  to install bluetooth.

no matter what  is done the Bluetooth Icon will not show in  upper right corner.  and in settings, if you try to enable, it just turns back off.  

Any ideas for what to do to get bluetooth working  in armbian?

I also tried to look for older images , but was unable to find them to see if they would work.

this is an older   Pinebook Pro from march/april 2019 that I just got. 

I know the bluetooth hardware works, because it worked when it had manjaro on it.  I switched to Armbian because I love the Terminator  and all the default settings that Armbian has for terminator.

On my (and your) Pine Phone the MicroSD card slot is directly above the SIM card slot on the back of the device.  Next to the slot there is a pictogram that shows what card goes where.  The bottom slot is described with "SIM", the top slot is described by "TF".  What is "TF"?  Anyideas?

I have an early production model PineBook Pro. I have always had problems installing software (mostly won't boot stuff).
I finally got Armbian to work well and used it for awhile. However, one time I did an upgrade it failed to boot (I get Armbian logo and a spinning circle.
I gave up on it and put it on the shelf a year or so ago. Just brought it out again to see if I could revive it or trash it.
I haven't been able to get it to boot from the SD card (this has been a constant problem from the start... I believe it's a problem with early production). I've tried all manner of things but I can't boot anything. Looks like there is a new bootloader Tow but people seem to be having problems with that also.
I was wondering of it would be useful to try to replace the motherboard with a newer version (and hopefully a functional bootloader)?

I'm considering designing a stereo audio board for the Quartz64 Model B, and wanted to gauge whether there's any interest in this.

The board would most likely be based around TI's PCM3060 audio codec, as it has good performance and mainline drivers. Additionally, an SPDIF output from the Quartz64 Model B's GPIO header would also be exposed as TOSlink. I also envision there being an external mute control based on the TI TS5A22362 to eliminate any power up/power down popping noises.

So here are a few questions for people to answer:

• If you are a current or prospective owner of a Quartz64 Model B, would you be interested in such a board?
  
• At which price point?
  
• How would you prefer your analog audio output, balanced with a hybrid XLR/6.35mm connector? Or single-ended/unbalanced with 3.5mm or RCA style connector?
  
• Do you want SPDIF as TOSlink or RCA?
  
• Do you need single-ended/unbalanced stereo analog audio input?
  
• What kind of heatsink do you use on your Model B?
  

You can reuse the same MicroSD card multiple times and with multiple different images, right? I should be able to flash different images to the same MicroSD card many times before it stops working, right?

Seems obvious, but I thought I'd get some verification. Anyone have problems reusing a MicroSD card with the same or different image files?

Hello I have received PPP few days back HK distribution Manjaro
I noticed poor  battery life 
I changed OS to postmarket OS 22.06.3
Still battery drain continued :
1/ I have checked  battery capacity while charging  - it was fine 
2/ I have charged 100% battery , 
closed active applications  
disconnected WiFi Bt , data transfer
Screen off 

put aside phone : in 2hrs 50% battery drained 
Approx in 4hrs phone drains majority of battery capacity 

checked CPU usage with top :  0-3% CPU utilization

3/ back case was hot under camera area 
4/ metal square under camera - GPU / CPU ? was hot  with almost 0 CPU utilization.
5/ checked  temperature from system thermal_zone
CPU thermal 48,7 C
GPU thermal 49.3 C
battery 18.8 C

wonder if this is  software or hardware issue ,any advice ?
